Sheet: driving range

Driving range construction, from the barrier netting to the covered tee line

Barrier netting, poles, synthetic turf, a concrete tee-line, a putting green and a covered shade structure, built turnkey by MGC Developers of East Hartford, CT. A range can stand on its own.

Chapter 01

The range is built from the netting out

A driving range is defined by its edges. Barrier Netting hung on Poles is what keeps every ball inside the range, and MGC builds it as part of the range build.

Synthetic Turf covers the hitting surface. MGC Developers has been building family entertainment centers out of East Hartford, CT since 1989, and a range follows the same turnkey approach as every other attraction: design, construction, and a guarantee on all work and materials.

The tee line is where customers spend their time

Golfers stand at the tee line, so that is where the range earns its comfort. MGC builds a Concrete Tee-Line and covers it with a Covered Shade Structure, so the hitting stations stay usable when the sun is high.

Beside it sits a Synthetic Turf Putting Green, so a range visit can end with a few putts. Putting turf is a trade MGC knows from its miniature golf courses, where top-quality putting turf and a practice putting green are standard.

Chapter 03

A range on its own, or the last piece of a complete park

A driving range does not need a miniature golf course or a go-kart track beside it. In MGC's own words: “Even if your amusement business is complete, you could still benefit from a stand-alone driving range.”

Help does not stop at construction. MGC also assists with Purchasing Equipment, Operating and Maintaining Your Facility, Site Location and Obtaining Permits, which matters for a range because the site and the permits are settled before the first pole goes up.

Payment follows the same terms as every MGC project: a deposit of 10% of the budgeted project cost schedules the construction date, with weekly draws and final payment upon completion. Range budgets are built from your site, so send your acreage to info@mgcdevelopers.com or ring (860) 749-4434.

At MGC, we stand by all our construction and guarantee all work and materials.
